Post Killing in the Name Of Character List
It's late for Slarpa but early for Gencon:

Please forgive any spelling mistakes.

Please send your top three picks to trent.yacuk@viciouscirclegames.com

Thx!

Aurelius (Tyler)
Divine
Faith
White King
<Strong> <Respected Leader> <Actor>

Aurelius is the White King of New Antioch. He is a good person who tries to do right by the Divine. He has been very stressed out watching the Civitus that he helped create slowly dwindle down.

Devetas (Cori)
Divine
Prudence
White Queen
<Assertive> <Competent> <Pissed off>

Everybody knows that Devetas is on the warpath. Clovis, the Black Knight, attacked and murdered the family of Devetas' Companion. Thus what he did was not against the Commandments but it's splitting hairs.

Suroth (Liza)
Divine
Charity
White Bishop
<Stressed> <Distracted> <Suspicious>

Suroth has felt the weight of failure, as he cannot seem to find useful information about the angel that is plaguing the Civitus. He feels like it's his responsibility to have found the angel.

Ragiel (Richard)
Divine
Temperance
White Rook
<Wise> <Careful> <On the edge>

Ragiel is well known for his calmness and traquility. He has served as an excellent Rook. He doesn't seem to care much about the Infernal and what they do to humans, so he turns a bit of a disapproving eye to the Divine who have lingering resentment for the Infernal. That being said, something must have happened recently because there is something new in Ragiel's eyes, like he's on the verge of anger.

Cross (Mike)
Divine
Justice
White Knight
<Hero> <Caring> <Strong Leader>

Cross is the Fallen that Divine look up to. He's a hero both for the Civitus and to the Divine. He fights with the Infernal, refusing to give up his ideals for the Codex. But in doing so, he didn't break the Commandments, so there is nothing to punish him for.

Zephon (Kyle)
Divine
Fortitude
Cross' Choir
<Stoic> <Confused> <Investigating>

Zephon is a solid member of the Divine. A bit distant at times. Still there is something that's gotten his interest up. Somebody personal that he's been doing that's leading him to wander into Deistical territory lately.

Bedlam (Kitty)
Divine
Wrath
Cross' Choir
<Angry> <Seeking redemption> <Untrusted>

Bedlam was a bad, bad man. It was with great surprised that he converted to the Divine. Cross took him in in a heartbeat. Cross seems to have faith in Bedlam but Bedlam still lets his anger get the better of him. It's put a target on Cross and his Choir.

Sofial (Katrine)
Divine
Hope
<Heart> <Caring> <Frustrated>

Sofial cares, perhaps too much sometimes. She tried to look at the best in people but she cannot deny that there are several Infernal who trouble her greatly. She has not made it any secret that she tries to stand against Nicholas, the Black Bishop and his brothels. Still she has mumbled about some sort of wonderful miracle that happened recently that's put her spirits up.

Arandel (Chris)
Divine
Faith
Prelate
<Last Angry Man> <On the edge> <Zealot>

Arandel was one of those Divine who never quite gave up hating the Infernal. And he's built a Choir of like individuals. One Murder has been signaled out and now Arandel has issued challenges of duels from his entire Choir to that Murder.

Joth
Divine
Charity
Arandel's Choir
<Warrior> <Humbled> <Zealot>
Joth ran into Hael, an Infernal, and the two fought. It ended in Joth dying the Hollow Death. That was the spark that caused the Choir and Murder to start feuding. It might end together with all the challenges.

Seth
Divine
Temperance
Arandel's Choir
<Strict Control> <Old Pain> <Pissed off>

Seth had his Companion kidnapped recently by Jeriko, an Infernal. She was returned, unharmed and Jeriko was punished for it but everybody knows that it's not over between Seth and Jeriko. He has a deeper score to settle with him.

Bachiel (Daniel)
Divine
Fortitude
Arandel's Choir
<Rock> <Soldier> <Fearful>

Bachiel has poured himself into the fight against the Last Crusade. He offers to scout when possible and has often joined up with Cross' Choir to fight angels or devils in the past. He seems strangely distance when it comes to his Choir's feud with Hael's Murder.

Seket (Mark)
Divine
Prudence
Prelate
<Good> <Frustrated> <Searching>

Seket is considered a very noble Divine. He works very tireless to command a Choir that cares about and fosters humanity. He has earned a great deal of respect from the rest of the Divine.

Janiel (Alison)
Divine
Charity
Seket's Choir
<Giving> <Spiritually strong> <Frustrated>

Nobody can doubt Janiel's heart. She works with humans and Fallen alike, seeing the worst inside them and healing them of their troubles. She gives so much of herself that it is surprising that she seems very frustrated with another Infernal right now. Normally she forgives but for once, she seems unable to.

Tabris (Carson)
Divine
Hope
Seket's Choir
<Spiritually Strong> <Friend to all> <Dead?>

Tabris was a good Fallen, but has gone missing recently. Has he been killed? His Choir is worried about him fiercely.

Jacob
Divine
Justice
Seket's Choir
<Cautious> <Caring> <Suspicious>

Jacob is a good memember of Seket's Choir. Something is troubling him recently and he's been agitated about this Census.

Samael
Infernal
Pride
Black King

<Fair> <Cruel> <Actor>

Samael has been the Black King and is equally outraged that one angel is tearing through the ranks of the Fallen. He wants to send Clovis into battle with the angel, but the angel is being difficult to hunt and Clovis is being difficult in general.

Talia
Infernal
Sloth
Black Queen

<Cruel> <Vindictive> <Pissed Off>

Talia is furious with Clovis who has disobeyed several direct orders to hunt the angel. As such, most Fallen believe that she is going to demand that Clovis be removed as Black Knight. However now is not exactly a good time for that sort of business...

Brom (Josh)
Infernal
Temperance
Black Rook

<Hunter> <Cold> < Smoldering>

Normally Brom is as cold as they come. He used to excel as a hunter but seems to have settled for a different role entirely since the Last Crusade. Brom was friends with Bedlam and isn't likely going to just accept his old friend joining the Divine without incident.

Nicholas (Wayne)
Infernal
Lust
Black Bishop

<Delightful> <Fun> <Monster>

Nicholas makes it no secret that he runs a brothel that caters to every depraved fantasy. In particular, he has some children that he peddles. Most of the Divine really hate him.

Clovis (Wade)
Infernal
Wrath
Black Knight

<Bastard> <Big Bad> <Moody>

Clovis was an excellent Black Knight until recently. He seems to be acting out lately, disobeying the Black Queen and attacking the family of the Companion of the White Minister. He is not in the good books right now.

Eve (Jill)
Infernal
Envy
Clovis' Murder

<Unpredictable> <Morose> <Crazy>

Eve was never one who was easy to understand. She plays rough and was a good fit for Clovis' Murder. She likes to fight. But recently she's been going missing and getting into fights with unknown people. She also seems...depressed which isn't like her.

Tia (Shy)
Infernal
Lust
Clovis' Murder

<Young> <Free Spirited> <Cruel>

Tia makes a lot of Fallen uncomfortable. She used to work in NIcholas' brothel, while underaged before she Reckoned. They retain a good 'working' relationship which Clovis disapproves off.

Jasmine
Infernal
Gluttony
Clovis' Murder

<Grimy> <Reckless> <Deathwish>

Jasmine is a Fallen who is out of control. She fights for Clovis as a means to put herself into more dangerous situations.

Hael
Infernal
Pride
Prelate

<Control freak> <Arrogant> < Irritated>

Hael got into trouble before when he and Joth got into a fight that ended with Hael killing Joth (the Hollow Death). Hael was punished by the Kings for his indiscretion but a lot of Fallen feel that Samael was being lenient. But this has spiraled out of control with a feud between Hael's Murder and Arandel's Choir.

Jeriko
Infernal
Envy
Hael's Murder

<Unstable> <Addict> <Petty>

As part of the above feud, Jeriko kidnapped an Affection of Seth (one of Arandel's Choir). He held her for a week before he released her, unharmed. It was stupid, he admits and he was punished for it. But again, Samael was considered incredibly lenient to Jeriko. Obviously Seth is livid.

Donovan (Don, heh)
Infernal
Pride
Hael's Murder

<Bad Lieutenant> <Moody> <Lost Love>

Most people don't know squat about Donovan. He's not done a lot that's obvious. Still he seems like a caged animal since the feud started.

Hekate (Ruby)
Infernal
Pride
Hael's Murder

<

Nathania (Ayla)
Infernal
Envy
Prelate

<Shit Disturber> <Rebel> <Difficult>

Nathania does not fit well in the Codex. She's been nothing but difficult for the Hierarchy, skirting the letter of the law without crossing it. Even within the Infernal her Murder are considered outcasts because they seem to have little loyalty to anybody but themselves.

Remiel (Pat)
Infernal
Justice
Nathaniel's Murder

<Quiet> <Subservient> <Fearful>

Remiel is a tragic story of a Fallen who was beaten down at his Reckoning. Likely, he would never be an Infernal by choice but was found by Galmon and is too afraid to leave the Infernal. Remiel was Slothful but recently changed to Justice. Even with that, he hasn't seem to gain any courage.

Galmon (Corey)
Infernal
Wrath
Nathaniel's Murder

<Bully> <Monster> <Shit Disturber>

Galmon is a perfect addition to Nathaniel's Murder. He's not really cunning enough to lead his own Murder but believes in 'prison rules'. He tries to be the biggest, meanest dog around. He calls Remiel his bitch.

Vohal (Spike)
Infernal
Sloth
Nathaniel's Murder

<Sick> <Infuriated> <Spiteful>

Fallen know Vohal's story well. He Reckoned with AIDS. Normally most Fallen have diseases purged by the Hollow Death, but for whatever reasons, Vohal returns from Purgatory with his disease intact. He has grown very furious and difficult because of it. However he uses his disease as an awful weapon now upon otherwise innocent victims.

<Note: As a player you can play Vohal in any stage of sickness you like. If you are hale and healthy, then you've likely died the Hollow Death recently and your disease is just starting to eat away at you. If you want to play all sickly, then you are probably near the end of your cycle and the disease will be killing you again in the near future>

Enoch (Sasha)
Deistical
Lust
Prelate

<Zest for life> <Leader> <Annoyed>

Enoch has always done an excellent job at running the Deistical. He is annoyed with Arandel's recent Choir vs. Murder challenge and sees it as a bit abusive to the intent of a duel.

Sariel (Des)
Deistical
Avarice

<Researcher> <Expert> <Loves puzzles>

Sariel has become the local expert on all things 'weird'. He knows a lot of about Rites.

Ambriel (Jackie)
Deistical
Hope
<Heart> <Light> <Courageous>

Ambriel is the heart of the Deistical. She is a friend to both Divine and Infernal and tries to help them with moral issues. She is gullible enough to be drawn into the Infernal's darker affairs but strong enough to become jaded about them.

Cynabal
Deistical
Faith

<Redeeming> <Righteous> <Sad>

Cynabal is 'practically a Divine' as she seems to practice what they preach. She got in a bit of trouble a while ago for taking a Nephilim as an Affection but that's blown over. She is very hurt at losing the love of her life, Ezra, the latest to fall against the angel.

Forcas (Gray)
Deistical
Gluttony

<Hunter> <Killer> <Crazy>

It's gotten out that Forcas is a serial killer. He makes no apologizes for what he does. Many consider him 'practically Infernal'.

Mael
Deistical
Fortitude

<Protector> <Incensed> <Shameful>

The body guard of the Deistical, Mael protects them all.

Tethel (Marie)
Deistical
Avarice

<Quiet> <Unassuming> <Cunning>

Tethel is friend to one and all. He has friends within the Divine and the Infernal. He is a staunch supporter of Enoch and the goals of the Deistical.

Mistake (Rhea)
Nephilim
Cynabal's Affection

Mistake is a Nephilim of a devil from well before the Last Crusade. Mistake was in New Antioch when the Last Crusade occurred and hid for years from the Fallen. Eventually he was found, by the Deistical. Before a conclusive decision was made about what should be done about him, Cynabal made him her Affection. Enoch was not pleased but defended her and Mistake to the Kings. Mistake hasn't done anything against the Fallen. So far...
